As a WellSpan team member, you can take advantage of professional development programs and supports, including our New Leader Community, Leadership Academy, sessions for connection and peer learning, coursework, tuition support and forgivable loans, and access to our unique training programs.

  • Medical Lab Scientist: Combining classroom learning with clinical experiences, this 12-month program for college students or graduates emphasizes the development of professional skills and knowledge in medical laboratory settings.
  • Medical Assistant: Become a medical assistant in 9.5 months with tuition and books covered.
  • Phlebotomist: Focused on the collection and processing of patient specimens for laboratory testing, phlebotomy is an excellent entry point into the healthcare field. This training prepares you for certification exams. 
  • Surgical Technologist: This 7-month training program allows you to become a certified surgical technologist.
