Join our dedicated urgent care team as a Radiographer / X-Ray Technician and do more than just traditional imaging.
This dynamic role involves working two 12-hour shifts starting at 7:30 AM, where you will not only perform radiographic duties but also diversify your skill set. You'll have the opportunity to conduct phlebotomy, support orthopedic procedures, assist with patient registration, and perform other medical assistant duties.

PRN (On Call As Needed)
Two 12-hour shifts per month, one of which falls on a weekend day
General Summary
Performs routine and specialized diagnostic and technical radiographic procedures at an intermediate skill level.
Able to perform more complex operating room procedures as well as fluoroscopic and overhead procedures and more complex portable exams if applicable to the location of outpatient center.
Schedules cases to coordinate with other patient examinations.
Properly processes images using digital technology., Able to resolve exceptions in PACs and EHR systems and has the ability to cancel unnecessary orders upon request of providers(site specific)
Positions and transfers patients safely and comfortably and explains basic procedure.
Immobilizes patients as necessary and practices radiation safety procedures.
Evaluates recorded images for technical quality. , consistently maintains a repeat rate under 5%.
Participates in and collaborates with other departments on projects to improve care and efficiency as needed.
Demonstrates leadership skills with capability of taking on a charge role if needed.
Participates in and collaborates with other departments on projects to improve care and efficiency as needed; participates in at least 1 project including but not limited to: equipment QA (monthly, quarterly testing), creating standards of work, engagement committee.
Becomes proficient in optional cross-trained skills(site specific) of EKGs and/or phlebotomy.
Qualifications
Work Experience:
2 years Relevant experience. Required
Licenses:
Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
Registered Technologist-Radiography - ARRT Upon Hire Required or
Courses and Training:
Accredited program in radiologic technology. Upon Hire Required
