Responsible for defining the strategy, business process requirements, design, and deployment of the Oracle Compensation module within the Human Capital Management (HCM) suite. This includes Salary Structures, Merit Increases, Salary Adjustment Process, Grade Step Progression, Workflow, Reporting and Data Conversions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
Technical development, enhancement, and ongoing support of the Oracle Compensation suite.
Responsible for leading in the definition of systems strategy, documenting business requirements, reviewing fit-gap analysis, business process designs, functional configuration, testing, user training.
Provides leadership and own defining end-to-end overall business processes.
Collaborates with team members and other business process leads to approve WellSpan's future core business processes.
Supports the execution of key change management activities within Compensation.
Makes timely decisions pertinent to the Compensation business process designs, sign-off on functional design, change management plan and test plan.
Makes timely decisions pertinent to Compensation business processes, taking cross-functional areas (HR/Payroll/Performance etc.) into considerations.
Continues to champion change within the Compensation area.
Provides leadership support in resolving Compensation issues and mitigating risks and the development of training material.
Participates and provides leadership during conversion, UAT and SIT cycles.
Partners with key super users to develop and evolve the applications within the suite while ensuring a stable, productive environment.
Effectively embraces and leads change, with the ability to lead or work with and on multi-disciplinary teams.
Motivates team members, system leadership, and system end users
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Bachelors Degree HR Management, Business, Information Technology, or related field. Required
Masters Degree HR Management, Business, Information Technology, or related field Preferred
Work Experience:
Experience working with HCM/ERP applications such as Lawson or Oracle. Required and
3 years Experience working with or designing business processes in Compensation: Salary Structures, Merit Increases, Salary Adjustment Process, Grade Step Progression, Workflow, Reporting and Data Conversions. Required and
SDLC or Agile methodology experience. Required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
Ability to successfully develop staff.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills as well as strong time management skills a must.
