General Summary

Provides a wide range of preventive and acute health care services to individuals of all ages. Performs acts of medical diagnosis or prescription of medical therapeutic or corrective measures.

WellSpan Health, a sophisticated medical community in south central Pennsylvania, is seeking a specialist in Urogynecologic/Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstruction Surgery to join our well-established medical group in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Position Highlights:

  • Full-time weekday position with inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
  • Opportunity to provide care in a comprehensive Pelvic Floor Program
  • Fellowship training, board certified/eligible in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery is required
  • Advanced laparoscopic/robotic surgical skills are preferred
  • A large referral base of 2,300 employed providers assures plenty of complex cases
  • Successful candidate will be energetic, compassionate and self-motivated
  • A keen knowledge of diagnostic, therapeutic and surgical options for female urinary incontinence is required

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
  • Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

  • Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
  • Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

  • Boarded in appropriate specialty. Upon Hire Required and
  • Completion of a residency. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Teaching skills.
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Good phone skills.
  • Excellent Customer Service.
  • Organized, sets priorities, and able to multi-task.
