Provides psychological services under clinical supervision per relevant psychology licensing laws.
Essential Functions:
Provides assessments in a multidisciplinary environment, to make recommendations for diagnosis (DSM, ICD) and interventions.
Conducts individual, couples, family and/or group therapy sessions as appropriate. Formulates and updates treatment plans and modifies treatment accordingly.
Provides all necessary documentation to reflect patient care status and to meet regulatory requirements, completing documentation within organizational timeframes.
Selects, administers and interprets psychological tests and writes psychological reports. Shares results with clients, referral sources and other relevant parties.
Coordinates care of assigned patients with treatment team members and other providers, agencies or referral sources as appropriate.
Demonstrates conduct that is ethical and professional. Operates within relevant laws.
Responds sensitively to issues of individual and cultural diversity in practice.
Complies with WellSpan Health Code of Conduct.
Common Expectations:
Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span of the assigned patient population. Assesses and interprets patient age specific data and provides appropriate, age specific treatment.
Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
Enhances professional growth and development through participation in professional trainings, attending and participating in individual supervision, keeping current in the professional literature.
Participates in administrative, clinical, outcomes, performance improvement and/or customer satisfaction projects/ assignments as needed, designed to improve quality.
Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork and positive peer and interdisciplinary work relationships; practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.
Actively manages work schedule to maintain expected levels of productivity.
Minimum Education:
Doctorate From psychology educational program and completion of a one-year doctoral psychology internship program. Required
Work Experience:
1 year Psychology internship training experience. Required
Courses and Training:
Must have completed a psychology doctoral degree and one-year doctoral psychology internship program. Upon Hire Required and
