General Summary

Provides pathology services; assists in the supervision and direction of activities relating to the Laboratory in accordance with accepted national standards and policies of the Hospital. Acts in the capacity of the Chief Pathologist in his absence.

What you can expect at your practice:

  • Full time position in a community hospital setting
  • Bread and Butter Pathology with subspecialty training welcome
  • Join 4 pathologists with over 110 yrs of combined experience. Very minimal call!
  • Low physician turnover due to stable administrative support and strong physician leadership

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required or
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required

Licenses:

  • Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
  • Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

  • Diplomate of the American Board of Pathology or the American Osteopathic Board of Pathology. Upon Hire Required and
  • Completion of a Pathology residency. Upon Hire Required and
  • Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of Gettysburg Hospital. Upon Hire Required
