General Summary

Provides clinical and administrative services involving cardiovascular medical care in a specialty practice setting.

As a WellSpan cardiologist, you'll benefit from our commitment to reinvesting in our providers and communities. We're seeking a board-certified Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our team in York, Pennsylvania.

What you can expect at your practice:

  • Join a well-established team of 10 Non-Invasive Cardiologists and 6 experienced Advanced Practice Providers
  • Our non-invasive cardiology practice is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, consultative cardiovascular care.
  • Collaborate with a team of experts in Electrophysiology, Advanced Heart Failure, Mechanical Support, Complex PCI, Structural Heart Intervention, Inherited Cardiovascular Diseases
  • Access to a full suite of advanced non-invasive technologies to manage complex cardiac cases, including 3D echocardiography, cardiac CT, MRI, and PET imaging
  • The practice is affiliated with York Hospital, a 579-bed teaching hospital and Level I trauma center with eight residency programs including Internal Medicine and Family Practice
  • Newly established general Cardiology Fellowship with 3 fellows per class provides comprehensive teaching opportunities
  • Balance work and home life with a reasonable shared call schedule

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
  • Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

  • Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
  • Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

  • Board Certified in Cardiology, or in-process of sitting for exam BC/BE licensable in the state of PA. Upon Hire Required and
  • Completed Fellowship in Cardiovascular Care. Upon Hire Required
