General Summary

Provides clinical and administrative services involving primary medical care to patients in a family practice setting.

WellSpan Health is actively seeking a full-time, BC/BQ family physician to join our outpatient practice near Berks County known for teamwork and longevity. We are now offering DAX - an artificial intelligence scribe that ambiently listens to the patient visit and generates a clinical note in the EPIC electronic health record for the provider. Position Highlights:

  • Join 4 physicians and 2 NPs at this family practice in Reinholds, Pennsylvania
  • Great staffing with 2 LVNs for inbasket, 4 MAs and 3 front desk
  • Semi-rural, close to Lancaster/Berks County line
  • Option of a 4- or 5-day work week
  • Call is shared with another practice and is 1:6 or 1:7
  • OB and Pediatrics now embedded in this multispecialty practice
  • Lab and imaging in same suite

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
  • Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

  • Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
  • Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required and
  • Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

  • Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine, or Board eligible. Upon Hire Required and
  • Completion of a Family Medicine residency. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Administrative skills.
