General Summary

Provides inpatient and outpatient diagnostic and interventional care to patients seeking treatment for Cardiac specific issues.

We are currently seeking a board certified/board eligible Interventionalist to join our team in Gettysburg, PA.

What you can expect at your practice:

  • Manage office patients and perform interventions at WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital
  • Work alongside a seasoned team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers
  • Leverage our state-of-the-art, fully renovated Cath Lab, equipped with an established PCI program.
  • Experience a consistent stream of intricate cardiac cases, with annual ED visits exceeding 30,000, as our committed Hospitalist team manages all admissions

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
  • Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

  • Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
  • Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

  • Board-certified or eligible for board certification through a member board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association. Upon Hire Required and
  • Completion of fellowships in interventional cardiology and cardiovascular disease through programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. Upon Hire Required and
  • Must qualify and be a member of the medical staff of the hospital(s) in which procedures are being performed. Upon Hire Required

Quality of Life

Established in 1800, Adams County includes the borough of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Home to more than 100,000 residents, the town is a mecca for Civil War history buffs and visitors who come to tour the Gettysburg National Battlefield and Gettysburg National Military Park and see the annual Civil War reenactment.

Also located here is Gettysburg College, which has a strong academic reputation in liberal arts.
