**This is an unpaid internship for current Master's Level students enrolled in a behavioral health related program, LPC track. Internship hours must cover at least 2 semesters and interns must be present at least 3 days per week, day shift only.
General Summary
Provides psychological services under supervision as outlined in internship handbook.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
Provides assessments in a multidisciplinary environment, to make recommendations for diagnosis (DSM, ICD) and interventions.
Conducts individual, couples, family and/or group therapy sessions as appropriate. Modifies treatment accordingly.
Provides all necessary documentation to reflect patient care status and to meet regulatory requirements, completing documentation within organizational timeframes.
Selects, administers and interprets psychological tests and writes psychological reports. Shares results with clients, referral sources and other relevant parties.
Coordinates care of assigned patients.
Demonstrates conduct that is ethical and professional. Operates within relevant laws.
Responds sensitively to issues of individual and cultural diversity in practice.
Complies with WellSpan Health Code of Conduct.
Common Expectations:
Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span of the assigned patient population. Assesses and interprets patient age specific data and provides appropriate, age specific treatment.
Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
Enhances professional growth and development through participation in professional trainings, attending and participating in individual and group supervision, keeping current in the professional literature and providing professional presentation(s).
Participates in administrative projects/assignments as needed.
Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.

Minimum Education:
Bachelors Degree Required
Enrolled in a Master's level program in a behavioral health related field Required
