Leadership Development Advisor

Location: WellSpan Health, York, PA
Schedule: PRN/Per Diem

General Summary

Coordinates and delivers leadership training programs, coaching, and other leader development solutions that enhance and improve overall employee engagement, individual and team performance. Is service-minded and values driven, partnering closely with leaders and other key stakeholders to ensure best learning and development experiences.

This position may be involved in one or more of the areas of responsibility listed in this position description.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coaches and collaborates with leaders at all levels on interventions designed to optimize the performance and potential of individual and team performance.
  • Involved with the delivery of innovative leadership training programs and development solutions across the organization.
  • Establishes strong partnerships to gain understanding of current issues and opportunities as it relates to leadership learning and development.
  • Enables and enhances impactful and engaging leadership development experiences via integration of various learning platforms.
  • Continuously evaluates leadership training programs and development solutions for impact and alignment with organizational needs; ability to shift when/where necessary to improve and increase reach and impact.
  • Actively supports employee engagement efforts through individual, team and organizational interventions.
  • Contributes to succession planning efforts by partnering with key stakeholders on initiatives and planning leadership development opportunities.
  • Serves as facilitator and trainer across a variety of learning programs and provides "train the trainer" opportunities to deepen and sustain learning across the organization.
  • Fosters a learning culture. Utilizes metrics and lean principles to solve problems and make improvements for the learner and the overall learning experience.

  • Maintains professional growth and development through a variety of platforms and professional affiliations to remain knowledgeable of latest trends in field of expertise.
  • Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.
  • Maintains System educational/training records.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Masters Degree Required

Work Experience:

  • 7 years Relevant experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Assignment may require knowledge of computer software and operations.
  • Excellent facilitation and training skills.
