OB/GYN Good Samaritan Hospital

WellSpan Health, an integrated not-for-profit health system serving the communities of South-Central Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland, is seeking a full-time Certified Nurse-Midwife to join our expanding OB/GYN team in Lebanon County. The organization consists of a multispecialty medical group of 220 care locations, eight hospitals, and a growing number of academic clinical affiliations. WellSpan Health is a team of 20,000 healthcare professionals committed to transforming the health of the communities we serve and educating medicine's next generation of Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, and Certified Nurse Midwives.

About the Position

  • Rotating 8-hour, 12-hour, or 24-hour shifts with a mix of office and call coverage at Good Samaritan Hospital as part of team based care to equal an average of 40 hours per week
  • Responsible for rounds/L&D at Good Samaritan Hospital receiving patients from three of our Lebanon County OB/GYN offices
  • Open to experienced CNMs, or new graduates
  • Provide care across the lifespan with emphasis on pregnancy, childbirth, and reproductive health

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelors Degree Required
  • Masters Degree Preferred

Work Experience:

  • 2 years Relevant experience. Required

Licenses:

  • Licensed Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required or
  • Registered Nurse Multi State License Upon Hire Required and
  • Licensed Midwife Upon Hire Required and
  • Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

  • Appropriate Clinical specialty certification from American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB). Upon Hire Required and
  • Graduation from an accredited school of Nurse-Midwifery. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Considerable degree of independent judgment.
  • Excellent interpersonal/communications skills.
